I was inspired by the campsite, I looked across the water and saw so many beautiful trees of differing ages. Tall thin, large, gnarly trees, greens and browns.. The trees hummed with the sounds of the birds that flitted from branch to branch. The river flowed gently and fish were teased by birds and insects. The whole place was alive with energy, old, new and vibrant. I couldn’t help but admire the sheer beauty. This was Horseshoe Creek. I look forward to going there again soon. In the meantime, I’ll remember its beauty as I look at what it has inspired in me.
